The authors take the approach of optimizing ALL silos of health: physical, mental, longevity, hormonal. All backed by cited medical studies throughout. I love that this book jumps right into the protocol quickly so that you can hit the ground running, as well as outlining multiple bodytypes, differences by sex and age. As a woman, they recommend the intermittent fasting for 14-15+ hours, which is VERY doable – last meal at 8pm, begin refeeding at 10am-12noon the next day.
